About Naga Tribe - Naga tribes inhibit along the northwestern mountains of Myanmar bordering with India. Their unique traditions of celebrating the New Year usually fall on the around 15th of January. All different groups even The Nagas from the India side come for this Celebration. Better come before the New Year Day since the pre-festival celebrations are held among the Naga villages. Their headdress made of bear fur and decorated with boar tusks, tiger claws, hornbill feathers and all the beasts they have killed. The more beasts they kill, the higher the profiles of the Nagas in their community!! You are welcome to participate in the New Year Festival, a thanks giving day for Mother Nature. The most auspicious Festival (Naga New Year Festival) when all Naga claus gathered to meet, to display their Feats us they celebrates and feast. Come and experience the true spirit of friendship of the proud people living in harmony with nature.
Chartered Flight departs Yangon Airport from Homalin Via Mandalay. Enjoy lunch and refreshments on 4 hours long shuttle boat trip with brcathtaking views from Homalin to Htamanthi in Chindwin River. Panoramic scenery of Naga Mountain Ranges wait for you along the road from Htamanthi to Leshi. Dinner and night stop at Traditional Houses in Leshi.

Excursion to near by villages by car or on foot by own arrangement after breakfast.Lunch boxes can be ordered at the Reception and Information counter beforehand. Enjoy with video show Naga Land after dinner.

Participate the Naga Traditional Pole Erection Ceremony from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. Enjoy the Auction Show of Naga Traditional household in the Dining Hail after lunch. Visiting surrounding On foot by own arrangement after the Auction Show until 6:00 p.m.

Attending the official Opening Ceremony of the Naga Traditional New Year Takes place On the festival grounds after breakfast, starting from 8:00 a.m. Enjoy the Naga Traditional food and Rice Wine (self service), and take part in the welcoming Naga New Year dancing around the bonfire between 7:00 p.m and 10:00 p.m.

Early morning breakfast at 4:00 a.m. Depart Leshi at 5:00 a.m and heads back home.
