Day 2: WEDNESDAY Yangon - Mandalay (N/A)
Morning domestic flight with Air Mandalay from Yangon to Mandalay (estimated time is round about 0700hr – we have no business class at all domestic flight). Transfer to the Road To Mandalay berthed on the Ayeyarwady River at Shwe Kyet Yet. Settle into your comfortable private cabin. After lunch, enjoy a guided tour of the key sights of Mandalay regarded as the centre of Burmese culture and Buddhist learning. Return to Road To Mandalay stopping en route to admire sunset over the river. Dinner and local entertainment. Overnight on board
Day 3: THURSDAY Mandalay - Bagan (N/A)
After an early breakfast visit the Sagaing Hills, the living centre of the Buddhist faith in Burma and famous for its silver and silversmiths who still work in much the same way as their ancestors did. The ship gets underway mid-morning, and begins its journey south. The rest of the day is spent relaxing on board observing the local river life from the top deck. An on-board guide lectures on local places and customs. Dinner and local entertainment. Overnight on board.
Day 4: FRIDAY Bagan (N/A)
The ship arrives at Bagan where over 2,000 temples and pagodas remain on this awe-inspiring plain. A guided orientation tour introduces you to the most important temples. After lunch you have the opportunity to rejoin the guide and visit the inside of some of the more significant pagodas. Alternatively, you can hire a bicycle or horse-drawn cart and explore this fascinating area on your own. Late afternoon your guide takes you to watch the breathtaking vista of the sun setting over the plain. Dinner and local entertainment. Overnight on board.
Day 5: SATURDAY Bagan – Inle Lake (N/A)
After an early breakfast you are transferred to Bagan airport for your onward flight to Heho (near Inle Lake)A.M.flight. On arrival, drive by road to INLE LAKE (60 km-1 1/2 hours). Transfer by boat to Hotel. An excursion by boat on Inle Lake will include sights of the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. In the afternoon, further visits are made to PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA, the weaving village of INPAWKHON and other sights. Overnight on the lake.
Day 6: SUNDAY Inle Lake - Yangon (B)
Visit a colorful local market in the Inle Lake region, and then proceed to Heho Airport (A.M.flight). for domestic flight to Yangon and transfer to hotel. Balance of the day at leisure to pursue individual interests. Overnight in Yangon.
Farewell dinner at Karaweik Royal restaurant.
Day 7: MONDAY Yangon (N/A)
oday sightseeing tour that includes the old colonial-style city center with the gilded SULE PAGODA Mahabandoola Park. Then visit to strand road by Car and Yangon Jetty. The tour continues to CHAUK HTAT GYI 70m long reclining Buddha. Continue visit to SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude today's sightseeing tour of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of the Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. In the afternoon, transfer to airport for international departure.
